Since the computers are currently on tables and student desks, the new computer workstations will include wire management for a neater look.

The double pedestal teacher desk will offer more storage for the multiple teachers who use the space and a storage cabinet and bookshelf will match the desks.

Since the uncomfortable chairs were one of the primary complaints, the library will get 80 new stackable chairs, much to the relief of the students as well as the staff who use the library for orientations and other meetings in the library.

A Huddle table will provide some mobility for equipment and activities and 3 modular storage cabinets will help hide away equipment that currently has no 'home'.

The circulation desk will get a makeover as well, with paneling to wrap around and a fresh countertop. Bookshelves will have a panel placed at each end to hide the aged wood.

Wall-mounted room dividers will have glass in the top to allow more natural light.

New polymer chairs will provide comfortable seating and a mix of nesting and stationary HON Huddle tables will allow tutors and students to customize the space as needed.

SmartLink desks will offer the ability to have group study areas that can be turned into pairs or even singles.

These changes will help boost the capacity from 20 students to 30!

Rapoport Academy - 1st Grade Room

Since this is a large classroom, divided into two spaces, HON graciously offered to outfit BOTH sides of the room completely! This means 17 SmartLink student desks with chairs in each "room". These can be configured in a wide variety of ways for group activities, lecture or testing.

A 12' Whiteboard at each end of the room will include sliding whiteboards for multiple subjects without needing to constantly erase, as well as handy backpack hooks to keep things tidy.

Full-height module storage cabinets will divide the room and a whiteboard on the back of each cabinet will provide additional writing space, great for small group sessions.

Three desk-height modular storage cabinets in each side of the room will provide much-needed storage for both teachers and students. And of course, a teacher desk and chair will round out each side.
