A Message from
the Winner
"There have
been so many awesome aspects of this
experience, but I’d first have to say that
Bonnie and Lea have been wonderful! They
have walked through every detail with us,
from the furniture to even suggested paint
colors (which they didn’t have to do).
This
experience has been amazing thus far and we
are so excited to see all of our joint
efforts come to fruition. Perry Office Plus
has truly been an answered prayer to us at
Care Net. If it had not been for the amazing
staff at Perry and this contest, we would
have not have been able to accomplish so
much!

CareNet staff (L to R), Shannon Gonzalez, Deborah
McGregor, and Stella Turrubiartez also gave their
ideas on the needed functionality and desired look
of the space.
1. Space Planning
After the initial consultation, Furniture Department
Manager Lea Shawstad went to work developing a plan for their new lobby
seating area. The layout allows for traffic flow through the
space without disturbing those who are seated. Clients and
visitors are positioned in front of the windows, so they can
enjoy the natural light while they wait.

2.
Design
The lobby will be a warm, inviting area with
wood finishes and soothing fabric colors. For the
guest chairs, a shaker cherry finish in the Cambia
style was chosen. To break up the space, two
different fabrics were selected for these chairs.
Matching cylinder tables will help balance the
angular style of the guest chairs. The chairs have a
pretty veneer finish, while the tables are in
durable laminate.

3. More
to the Makeover...
CareNet has also chosen to update their
reception desk and add an additional staff
workstation. Stay tuned for the reveal! Their $1,000
office prize package is also in the works, with
donations from Swingline, Kensington, Wilson Jones,
Zebra, HP, SMEAD and SP Richards.
